  1. Boil potatoes in pressure cooker for 3 to 4 whistles or till they get cooked but not mushy.

  2. Wash, rinse and drain poha. Keep aside after sprinkling few drops of water on it.

  3. After the potatoes are cooled down, mash them and add chopped onions, salt, coriander powder, jeera powder, green chillies, grated ginger, soaked poha.

  4. Mix well and check for taste. Adjust spices or salt as per your taste if required.

  5. Roll it into patties.

  6. Take a skillet, grease it with oil. Place tikkis on it and let it cook till it aquires brownish shade
