      For Grinding
      1. Add chopped coconut pieces, roasted chana dal, green chillies and salt into the mixer grinder.
      2. Grind them once. Add water to this and grind it again.
      3. Grind till it becomes paste.
      For Seasoning
      1. Take a frying pan, add oil.First goes mustard seeds, after they crackle , add remaining ingredients of the seasoning.Once they turn golden brown.Switch off the flame.
      2. Add this seasoning to the chutney.
      3. Serve it with Dosa, Idli or Vada.
      Recipe Notes

      Add more water if the consistency is thick.
