Red Chilly Coconut Chutney

Red Chilli Coconut Chutney

This is a spicy red coloured coconut chutney. I remember my childhood days when my granny used to grind this chutney using hand mortar. The chutney used to be so tasty when she made it using her hand mortar. I use to call this red chutney. This was my summer breakfast side dish.

Combination

It goes well with hot idly, dosa , vada. Also a good company for rice.

Red Chilli Coconut Chutney has variations too , Shallots can also be added for other variation. However this is a simple basic recipe that is made in south India. We would soon be uploading that variation too.
