  1. Cut the bunches of spring onions in length of 2-3 cms and wash them thoroughly.
  2. In a skillet, add oil and onions. Saute the onions until they turn golden brown.
  3. Add chopped spring onions to this and saute it for a minute.
  4. Add salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder and mix it well.
  5. Add 1 glass of water to this and cover it with a lid. Let it cook on medium flame for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Once the gravy thickens, add the smashed tomato and cover it to cook for a minute or two.
  7. Yummy side dish for rotis or rice is ready to be served.
